Let your readers know you’re an MWSA member

Press releases are an inexpensive way to spread the word about your writing efforts. Use this section to create your own press release. We’ve included a list of possible resources you can use to get the ball rolling.

First, we’ve created two templates (for awards finalists and medal winners). Next, we provide a list of press release websites.

Free Press Release Submission Sites:

• PRLog: Offers free submissions with instant approval and a limit of two press releases per day. 

• PR.com: Allows free submissions, but paid submissions may receive more visibility. 

• PRWeb: Offers a paid service, but the basic package is relatively affordable and includes distribution to major search engines. 

• EIN Presswire: Allows free submissions, which can help generate publicity, backlinks, and social media buzz. 

• Issuewire: Provides free press release submissions, with paid options available for more targeted distribution. 

• PressReleasePoint: Offers a list of 15+ free press release websites to submit to. 

NOTE: MWSA has used the PRLog website to publish press releases, but we do not vouch for any of the above web-based companies.
