MWSA Board of Directors Election

MWSA needs a few more people to run for Board positions for the 2021/2022 term. If you would like to run for a position, please contact Joe Epley at Joe@epleywrites.com.

Help Wanted

We desperately need help with our MWSA website. We're NOT looking for someone with special experience or expertise. Our website is hosted by Squarespace, which has a very intuitive and simple user interface. If you can use a word processor (what writer can't?), you can help.

All we need is one or more volunteers who are willing to step up and help out a few times each month--normally, no more than 5-10 minutes at a time. John Cathcart has been doing all our website work for the last three years and he needs a break. John has offered to train anyone who's interested in helping out posting to our website. Please reply to info@mwsa.co if you are interested.

2020 Writer of the Year Nominations

As everyone should know by now, MWSA will be video-casting our announcement of awards finalists on August 15. Then, on September 19, we'll unveil the 2020 medal winners as well as three Special Recognition Awards (the President's and Founder's awards, and the Mike Mullins Memorial Writer of the Year Award). Both presentations will be online-only due to COVID.
