Here are a few details to help reviewers check for a properly-formatted eBook.

You can also download an application or program to your iPad or other tablet, or even your computer (Mac or PC).
Evaluating eBooks
What we'd like you to check
Check the bottom left corner of the Kindle display and cycle through the options (checking that all three should be there):
Location XXX of XXXX (may also have page X of XX)
Time left in chapter
Time left in book
Go to the table of contents and check at least two locations at random (e.g., click on the cover and chapter 20) to make sure the navigation works correctly.
Go to the format settings page and change font and column layout, then check that text flows properly in each test.
You want to look
for broken lines like this
one.
Also, check for strange justification settings resulting in layout l i k e t h i s.
Check for formatting/coding problems that result in stray characters like: ╣ ▓ Å µ ≈
